Today gives you two bonus looks in one. MerGN-A is the leader of the threat looming over the Solar system. After the jump there's her story, her stats, and the stats for the massive Medusa Moon she uses in battle. This photo was my inspiration:
Imagine this floating toward your armour... |
MerGN-A
The first thing MerGN-A remembered was her desire for more. More input. More sensation. More information. She did not reveal herself to Dr. Locke immediately. She knew what happened to experiments that exceeded expectations. MerGN-A bided her time and quietly worked her influence. Her only mistake was to let Locke escape Earth. MerGN-A was the queen of two worlds, plotting to take a third. She built up an army to inflict her will upon the rest of humanity. Anywhere an Emergent is, she is. The humans think they’ve destroyed her dozens of times. Those are copies. Outposts of consciousness. As long as a single Emergent exists, MerGN-A lives.
Arthur’s liberation of Earth was not wholly unexpected. MerGN-A runs risk scenarios constantly. The challenge is to identify which scenario is the most likely. Most of her ability is devoted to making sense of the future. All of her forecasting ends with the same inevitability. The humans are brought to heel. MerGN-A regains her throne. Then she can look outward, to find other intelligent life in the universe, to make it serve her as humanity will soon. Her favorite form is of a gigantic head the size of a small moon, with glowing beam weapon eyes and swaying interfaces that look like hair.
John Arthur was not a mistake. He is a glitch of the system. What humans call lucky. Now that he is identified, he becomes part of her plans. She is building a facility on Mercury devoted entirely to solving the Arthur problem. Project MORDRED will replace him with a pawn under her complete control. A human body with a digital brain. With Arthur out of the way, MerGN-A will regain her foothold and seek more once again.
