I'll be in Madison the first weekend in November as a Guest of Honor at Gamehole Con. It looks like all my events are full, but you never know when people will drop out and you can just walk up to a game. You should also be able to find me just wandering around the show. Check out my schedule after the jump.

Nexus Game Fair - Schedule
This weekend, from June 25th - 28th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel - Milwaukee Airport, I'll be a Guest of Honor for the second annual Nexus Game Fair. In addition to the tournaments and MilCog's ginormous board game library, I'll be involved with games, panels and wandering around talking with designers. Here's where I'll be officially:
Thursday - 7 PM: Ghostbusters - Satanic Panic (SOLD OUT)
I'm running a session of my Fate hack for Ghostbusters at the show. We'll make up a franchise and get down to busting heads...in a spiritual sense of course.
Friday - 10 AM: Feng Shui 2 - Demo
I'm pinch hitting for Cam Banks who had to cancel his appearance at the con. As a Feng Shui 2 backer, I'm excited to get the game on the road and kick some butt!
Friday - 6 PM: Fun Facts About Fate
If you've ever wanted to pick my brain about Fate, here's your chance. I'm talking about the different variations and my experiences working with Evil Hat.
Friday - 7 PM: Firefly RPG - All In The Family (SOLD OUT)
I'm running an adventure out of one of the books for a Full Boat: 9 players, each taking a role of the Serenity Crew!
Sunday - 1 PM: Atomic Robo RPG - Neil DeGrasse Tyson Is Missing!
Sign up as Tesladyne interns assigned to pick up the famous scientist for a meeting with Robo...and then brainstorm to figure out what happened to him!
Even if events are sold out, don't fret. I'll be running these events again at Gamehole Con in November, and feel free to swing by and see if people dropped out.

Firefly - Props From The 'Verse
I have a soft spot in my heart for well done handouts in game. I think it's my time spent playing Call of Cthulhu, pouring over fake newspaper articles and diaries for clues. Because of this, one of my common stops in the blog verse is Propnomicon. this blog always has some good links to spooky props and add-ons for horror gaming.
A couple days ago it posted some links to some fan paperwork set in the 'Verse. These pieces would be excellent props to use in a session of the Firefly RPG.
Here's a link to the initial stuff and here's one to a later page from the comments.

The Firefly RPG Corebook is making its way out into the wild. Pre-orders are starting to hit mailboxes around the world. We'll also have a ton of copies at Gen Con next week, so if you're able, stop by the Margaret Weis Productions booth and I'll be glad to sign both books for you.

Echoes of War - Bucking the Tiger
Today is a pretty exciting day for me. The newest Echoes of War adventure is out. I'm always excited on release day, but it's a double dose because it's the adventure I wrote for the line. Bucking the Tiger features a murder mystery set at a Wild West themed casino, as an old friend of the Crew gets killed just before she's able to make good on a marker.
You can download Bucking the Tiger here.
My friends over at Plot Points Podcast asked me to come on and discuss the adventure and the Firefly RPG. The episode is split into two parts. The first part is primarily a discussion of the show and the RPG. The second focuses on the adventure. There are spoilers in the discussion, but a neat thing about the adventure is that is plays differently every time.
If you'd like to get the podcast on iTunes, click here.

Firefly RPG - Core Book PDF
Is it U-Day? No, it's PDF day! The electronic version of the Firefly RPG is out at DriveThru RPG.
The book comes with a great Episode, What's Yours Is Mine, but surely you want more Episodes after that?
Wedding Planners: The Crew escorts a young ingenue to her wedding to a wealthy arms manufacturer - whether she likes it or not.
Shooting Fish: The Crew comes to the aid of a Shepherd by entering a no-holds-barred boat race run by an overbearing mayor.
Friends in Low Places: The Crew gets caught between a corrupt Guild trader and the Alliance officer looking to bring him down.
Freedom Flyer: The Crew helps an old friend outrun bounty hunters to put the pieces in place for a new life.
If you want to try before you buy, Serenity Crew offers write ups for the main Crew and 12 original archetypes. Add an Echoes of War Episode for a few nights of adventure!

Echoes of War - GM's Day Sale
As part of DriveThru RPG's GM's Day sale, all the currently available Echoes of War PDFs are on sale. This is a great way to pick them up to be ready when the Firefly RPG releases soon. That's four adventures in addition to the one in the corebook. I think it's pretty cool that we have a ton of support ready for those GMs taking their players out into the verse.
The next Echoes of War Episode is written by yours truly. It's called Bucking the Tiger and features a murder mystery at a casino. The next set of Echoes episodes are all lookin' pretty good, and I can't wait for Browncoats to use the full rules to enjoy them.

Firefly - Freedom Flyer
Today marks the release of the fourth Echoes of War adventure. Freedom Flyer comes to us from Nicole Wakelin. The Crew has to help an old friend get out from under a bounty on her head to start a new life out in the black. Nicole was great to work with and, as always, Monica Valentinelli and Mark Diaz Truman did a great job making this tale razor sharp.
I spoil my favorite sequence after the jump.

Firefly - Corebook Pre-Order is Live!
In case you want to skip the lines and get the Firefly RPG Corebook directly mailed to you (along with the PDF emailed the moment it is ready), you may do so here from Margaret Weis Productions directly. I did a little work on the Corebook directly, but a lot of my work from the Exclusive also carried over. And yes, it is fully compatible with our lovely Echoes of War supplements.

Firefly - Friends in Low Places
Today, the latest Echoes of War adventure in the Firefly universe goes live. Friends In Low Places puts the Crew in a bad place between a low down dirty trader and an Alliance officer trying to bring him to justice. Monica Valentinelli did a great job pulling together a plot driven by some hard choices, and Mark Diaz Truman helped me sharpen the mechanics to razor deadliness. I go into fiurther detail after the jump, which involve spoilers.
